- February 8: Jocelyn Rojo Carranza, age 1`1, death by suicide after bullied about immigration status
- February 9: Sam Nordquist, transgender man, found dead after being held and tortured for a month.
- February 10: Darnell and A’Millah Curry die of hypothermia, sleeping in van
- February 14: Emily Pike, age 14, found dead and dismembered
- March: Gaines County, Texas measles outbreak spreads to West Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Mexican state of Chihuaha
- April 12: Victor Perez, nonverbal autistic 17-year-old with cerebral palsy shot dead by Idaho police.
- April-May: Measles outbreak in 11 states

I did not have enough beads to record incidents of police violence. According to the Mapping Police Violence database,
- there were only six days in 2025 when police did not kill someone in the United States
- U.S. police killed 1,383 people in 2025
- Black people are 2.83 times more likely to be killed by police than white people
- Police killings in the U.S. from 2013-2024:
- 140 Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders per million
- 97 Black people per million
- 61 American Indian and Alaskan Native per million
- 45 Hispanic per million
- 35 white people per million
- 12 Asians per million
measles
In 2025 there were 2,200 cases of measles, the most in decades. This includes the outbreaks that began in Texas and South Carolina.
